Café Colore - Karlin

Great place, which we have visited few days ago, tasty cakes with delicous coffe, my brother ate there a great steak and tomato soup. For 100% i recommend this place, so far the best place for food and drink in prague!

A big cake display welcomes you just opposite the entrance to Cafe Colore. It makes you think that you need to remember to have room for dessert. Table lamps, striped chairs and dark wooden furniture all contribute to the atmosphere of this dimly lit but charming restaurant. The staff were friendly and gave us good service. They took the time to explain the dishes on the menu that we had questions about and also gave us some recommendations.

Very nice cozy place. Healthy breakfast. My wife and I took the House Breakfast . It had a boiled egg peeled and cocked exactly as I liked it. It included delicious home made jam. We'll definitely come back.

I have had superb meals here 3 out of 4 times. The food and service is usually excellent and the daily menu is great value. The only thing that stops it from getting a higher mark is that one time I was served the worst steak I have ever eaten so overcooked I had to send it back and actually left without eating. Fortunately I have been back since and there was a spectacular return to form.

Das Ambiente des Café colore ist etwas ins alter gekommen. Aber es ist sehr bequem man fühlt sich hier wohl. Das Personal ist schnell aber könnte etwas netter sein. Das essen ist gut. Der Kaffee ist von julius meindl der ist lecker.
