Bhojan - Karlin

Bhojan is a small joint nearby the central Prague area. They have an amazing variety of food and snacks. The ambience is pretty good as well. Coming to food, they have a concept where you can take all the food items that you need and pay as per weight! If you are from India and looking for that exact same taste, this place may not have the same taste. But in a city where it’s difficult to find vegetarian food, this place is a great help cause certain dishes in the menu are really tasty. The person at the counter is really sweet and welcoming! Even though I am a carnivore, I felt hungry and when I passed by, I decided to go in and I was surprised... the bistro, which may not impress with its interior, looks quite ordinary, but the taste is one hundred percent.... I like spicy food and here I was satisfied, but they also have non-spicy options for everyone's taste.... everyone can find something here.

For just 49 czk, you can enjoy a delicious and filling alu paratha at this restaurant. The potato stuffed fried flatbread comes with mango and lime pickles and a yogurt sauce, making it a great value for the price. Despite not handling spicy food as well as I used to, the spicy version of the alu paratha was still enjoyable without being overwhelmingly hot. As an Indian, I can attest that this is authentic Indian cuisine. The paratha, which is a satisfying breakfast option on its own, was followed by a delicious mango-infused rice pudding called kheer. It left me wondering if nostalgia was clouding my judgment, but the dessert was truly outstanding. The masala chai, served in a generous cup, was of the same high quality as what you would find in roadside tea stalls in northern India, and at a reasonable price of 19 czk. Overall, my experience at Bhojan was very pleasant and I would definitely return to see if the quality of the food was consistent.

I visited this place for the first time and would appreciate a larger selection. I took my food to go. I especially enjoyed the spring rolls and fried cheese balls. It's nice that if you ask, you get free water in a jug.

Velmi dobré bistro ,chutné jídlo a dobře ochucené . Rád se zde zastavím a najím. Obsluha příjemná. Výhodná poloha přímo u stanice tramvaje. Doporučuji.
