Waterfall Cafe - KARIONG

We chose the Waterfall cafe, as it's a perfect halfway point between Newcastle and Sydney for a mid-week catch up with friends, just an hours drive for each of us. We pulled in just before the menu change from breakfast to lunch at 11.30 and we ordered off each menu. Coffee was good and our meals were delicious. We were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day outside on the deck. To our surprise, there was lunch time entertainment, with some students from the school across the road singing. Unexpected, and they were pretty good. The service was casual, which suits the environment. Would definitely return.

4 of us had breakfast here on the lovely deck, we found the new staff efficient and friendly. We all added or changed the menu in some way with no issues.I had the regular breakfast with mushrooms added and a vanilla latte, all was yummy and throughly enjoyable.This is one of my favourite places to visit.

Eggs Benedict after waiting 20 minutes waitress comes out and says we don't have any salmonBig Breaky the toast came out when meal was almost finished Tip if you have a slight idea if our order might be an hour or so have the commonsense and decency to let us know. Won't be back

Pleasant outlook over water and gardens. Service was good as was the coffee. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced..

We waited, and waited for our food. Drinks came after a time, then had to wait for pancakes and raisin toast. Generally you would like to have the raiisin toast with your coffee or hot chocolate, but no, the toast came about 15mins after the beverages were finished. the kids were getting impatient waiting for the pancakes. Suggest that they need a short order cook for these types of "quick" meals/snacks. Will think twice before going back
