Contribuiți la feedbackNow we discovered this place as an accident when we look for another of many new outlets that appear in the area. It's right behind the Nishat Burger King. Small place, but tastefully in an old American/Italian diner style with black and white tiles and white lacquered bare bricks. The order is a little slow. But the food was worth waiting every time we visited this place recently. The Jackenkartoffels are good, but not with the choice of sauces and toppings, as we're the first time around! Believe me more is not better. Just choose a few choices to your taste! But my favorite is the Philly Steak Sandwich! It's just lush. Personally for me the size is a tide on the small side, but that's just me! So next time I ordered two for me!!! The lady loves her Mac and cheese. The milkshakes are tasty, but a complaint, make them cold and use ice cream instead of what we got was ordinary milk! The owner (young boy) was also very helpful.... hopefully you get the standards and make the small improvements. Very recommended! It's worth a try.
From food to the atmosphere everything is amazing. People need to understand that the things that are rarely served here need some time to prepare, patience required us. It is cozy and ambience is great. Kudos to get us something rare.
Got invited to BabaMoo earlier this week to give feedback on the new items they’re planning to launch. Can’t review, because didn’t pay; but can list down the items I tried: Tandoori Bomb Jacket Potato Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Mapled Turkey Bacon and Pulled Beef Popcorn Chicken Mac Cheese Strawberry Cheesecake Shake It’s so nice to see some restaurants actually giving a damn about getting feedback from their customers instead of piling up bloggers for mere publicity (not trying to stereotype all bloggers, as some actually do give honest feedback and I do rely on them). I had a few tough things to say about an item but not once did the owner got defensive with dumb excuses like ‘hamaray pass to aisa hi banta hai’ and ‘hamara chef imported hai usko sab pata hai’. Apart from the new items, you will find your desi Kumpir fix here! Solid Aaloo with a variety of toppings. Love it!! Aaloo lovers, definitely go for that.
I've tried Babamoo's jacket potatoes at the Karachi Eat festival and then again at their restaurant and they're simply delicious! But on this visit I wanted to go a little off menu and order a shrimp fettuccini. My order ended up taking over 40m to prepare because the head chef wasn't happy with the direction the other chefs had gone in and stepped in to make the dish from scratch. It was well worth the wait! It was a fettuccini made in lemon and herb and you can really taste the pasta. If I'd gotten it in time, it'd be 5 stars.
Small and clean place with good, affordable food. I tried the steak jacket potato with caramelized onions, jalapenos and mushrooms, topped with thousand island dressing, chilli and cilantro sauce and honey and mustard sauce (at the server's recommendation) and I enjoyed it. Recommended for a weekday lunch.
