Sushi Bushido - Kapaa

I was feeling tired and didn't want to cook, so I decided to dine at Victor's. The food is always fantastic, and the service is excellent! Be sure to make reservations in advance.

The best place for dining on the east side of Kauai! The restaurant is clean, the food is excellent, the drinks are fabulous, and the customer service is top-notch!

When we arrived at the restaurant around 6:30 PM, it was nearly empty, which was surprising. We chose to sit at the sushi bar, where the beautiful sushi kitchen was located behind the counter, along with the servers. The hamachi nigiri was very good and fresh. The edamame was ice-cold, likely from the freezer. The tempura shrimp roll was meant to be spicy, but it had no heat at all. I also ordered a spicy rainbow roll topped with salmon, which was not seasoned and had a slightly fishy taste. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 and the service a 5.

We dine here on every vacation to Kauai. Great menu of fantastic food with an incredible staff...and I mean every visit! Put this on your bucket list!

They sat us on time, we very helpful with all of our questions. Uncle Victor is always awesome.
