Located near Fongshan West Station, this vegetarian eatery offers a menu that clearly indicates which items are vegan or can be made vegan. One of their specialties is a tuna vegan cheese pizza, topped with potatoes, corn, tomato, beans, and veggie tuna, drizzled with vegan cream and thousand island sauce. Although the pizza is made with a bread/toast base, it is not very crispy despite being freshly baked. Learn more about vegan dining options in Kaohsiung in this guide.
The restaurant offers a clear menu with options for both lacto-ovo vegetarians and vegans. The QQ ball is a must-try, with sweet potato and taro filling inside. The purple variation is particularly delicious and not greasy at all. I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan pizza, which featured French beans as a unique topping. The ingredients were fresh and the staff assured me that no canned food was used. The handmade pizza base added to the overall freshness and crunchiness of the pizza. Although some menu items may not be available due to the restaurant being run by two elderly ladies who make everything by hand, the wait time may be a bit longer, especially during busy times. Overall, the food was refreshing and a unique combination between raw and traditional pizza.
This restaurant has a diverse menu with pictures for each item as well as a separate vegan menu. However, the quality of the food can vary, so it's best to ask for recommendations. I have been here a few times and I particularly enjoy their banana milkshake and classic waffles. The standard hamburger and fries are decent, and the chicken nuggets are great. The ambiance is nice indoors but the prices are a bit high. It's also a 30-minute bike ride from the MRT station if you don't have a car. While the restaurant may not be exceptional, it currently has a 4.7 out of 5 rating on Facebook. I noticed that the wait times were much shorter during my last visit compared to my first visit.
I was so disappointed when I got there. First of all the food took forever and they forgot one of our orders so we even had to wait longer. I don 't know what kind of sour cream they use on their dishes. Maybe it was already bad?! I got severe stomach pain from eating there. A burrito which contains potato was really weird too. The vegan cheese was way too sweet. I don 't know why but everything had some kind of artificial taste. I would not recommend to go there and I will never go there again either
