An Edo-mae-style sushi restaurant by talented Taiwanese chef. Finest Japanese and Taiwanese seafood are used, and the fish are well aged. The appetizers at Sushi are well seasoned with the personal creativity of the cook. The environment is also decorated with works of art chosen by the cook.

One of our favorite sushi restaurants in South Taiwan! We love sushi and had great sushi in Taipei, Tokyo, Hokkaido and a few other cities, we were super surprised when we went to Sushi 27 we were blown away! It was presented to us by our foodie friends, we went and became loyal fans ever since. Chef RenRen San is Taiwanese (sees quite Japanese and speaks quite fluent Japanese) is skillful and entertaining. The restaurant has only the counter space (about 12 seats) and is one of the most popular authentic restaurants for sushi, can be difficult to reserve, but it is so worth it!

Excellent nigiri with some local twists including using Shaoxing wine with sweet shrimp. Starts stronger than it finishes. Deft touch with the rice rolling; comfortable sushi bar.
