German Soul Kaohsiung Dé Yì Suǒ

Homemade sausages are all good! And the potatoes and the smokey pig are great!!! Can't believe we can taste these delicious German dishes in Kaohsiung! Costs are fair and service is good. Very recommended for those who want to try delicious food, other than local food.

After 3 months of living in Kaohsiung, this place was like paradise! Everything is delicious, homemade food and also German products! The decoration and the music is really beautiful! Totally recommended, I felt like in Germany

After a 200-kilometre journey I flew a German court, was ready to wait until 17:30 and gave German Soul an attempt. Schnitzel with mushroom sauce, (it would have been rude to lick the plate). The pig legs must be pre-ordered, and since I saw a few plates, I understand why. HUGE and they were looking for mouthwater! Then the bonus feature: I didn't order online, but the landlord didn't hesitate to drive home at all and get what I wanted. Brats, Liver Sausage, Mettwurst, Bologna and Bacon.... I went to Anping with an overloaded bike. Top quality and great taste... I'm back with the pork legs. Update 2022-08-06 we went with 3 guys for the pig bones. As expected, they were huge, juicy and the skin crispy as you would get them on the famous Oktoberfest in Germany. But these here are about 3 times the size, so better bring your friends with you.

You drew German beers! Do I have to say more? The food is so good that I always have halfway through which I forgot to take photos. Not sure about other meals, but the part of the carving (yes, you get two big pieces is massive. You also make delicious smoked meat and bacon that you can take home. Unlike Taiwanese places it should be so salty! The staff is nice and friendly and of course they speak well English. If you long authentic German food, this is the place to go.
