The Farmhouse - Kansas

My wife and I have been numerous times under the old ownership. Most everything was good. Service was always great, food was good but really nothing outstanding, but overall no complaints. Their house dressing, which they used to sell by the bottle (not sure if they still do), is amazing.

We went here to eat at 12:45 today, the website says they are open but their signs said closed and no one answered phones.

This place was spectacular! The food was great- the kids devoured their burgers, my wife said her salad was “fan-triple-tastic”, and I had the best chicken fried steak I've had in years. The service was incredible, and they were even willing to stay open while we were the only ones there. Overall, great experience- we will be back!

This place was everything I hoped for. Wait staff was helpful and fun. Food was hot and delicious. I will be here again when the sunflowers bloom.

This place has the perfect old time, down home feeling. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable about Abilene's history. They have some great stories and make you feel very welcome. We had the cat fish and WOW was it breaded perfectly! Their house dressing, a creamy Italian is very flavorful without being over herbed. The fries were perfect too. I highly recommend taking desert to go if you don't have enough room after dinner. Their homemade pies, cheesecake and cakes are Amazing!
