Taqueria El Torito - Kansas City

I have never eaten a quesadilla in my life that was that damn good.

Sometimes I wish I had an English translator working or someone on the staff that spoke English more than just one person. Other than that great place for tacos.

I’ve never waited this long for five tacos before. I’ve been here for 45 minutes with no one in front of me, and it's quite embarrassing to see the staff just standing around without any urgency.

The employees at this Mexican supermarket, particularly the men at the meat and deli counter, are incredibly disrespectful to customers. I am reporting this store to the city and state authorities because they have a practice of freezing their various cuts of steak. When a customer requests 1 pound, the frozen steaks weigh more, causing the customer to be charged for an extra 1/4 or 1/2 pound. This unethical practice is illegal! Hardworking, low-wage customers end up paying for ice added to their meat. I've visited all the 'Torito Stores,' and they all engage in this same practice, which makes me certain that management encourages it. This is simply disgraceful!

The food at this restaurant is truly authentic and incredibly delicious, with great prices to match. The waitstaff is very efficient as well. It's the only Mexican restaurant I would wholeheartedly recommend!
