Taco Republic - Kansas City

Taco Republic does not use OpenTable. I added our names to the waitlist when we arrived, only to be told that they don’t use it at all. I'm not sure why they are still listed with OpenTable, but don't rely on their waitlist feature if you're hoping to get a table.

We added our name to the waiting list through OpenTable. However, when we arrived, they informed us that "OpenTable didn't work for us tonight" and did not offer to put us back on the waiting list.

Delicious food! We love coming here for their elotes. It tends to be quite busy on the weekends, so it might not be the best spot for a dinner if you're hoping for a conversation.

I met some friends to eat. the salazar and camerones tacos were great! the salsa and margarita were good and the churros were the best I had. the price was very reasonable!

Nice place for street tacos and drinks outside. Would be nice if they fixed that huge metal overhead fan they have so that the fan blades aren 't constantly CLINK! against the the metal cage surrounding it.
