This place is billed as having great seafood. Well, the first ;bad ; thing that happened is that they were ;sold out ; of all seafood. This was the primary reason we went to this restaurant. The crab cake appetizer was good and the salad average. I ended up having a fillet. It was dry with little flavor. The deserts were ;OK ; nothing spectacular. The service was fair, but the waiter overcharged us $30 on our original bill, I had to point it out. Overall, VERY disappointing experience.
I went to breakfast with friends at Harvey's. The staff was friendly and attentive, they didn't rush us. The food was delicious and served hot. The prices were reasonable. It was a bit noisy because we sat near the main door where workers were putting up holiday decorations (in October!). I would recommend Harvey's.
The restaurant was lovely with a friendly server, but the service was slow. The Chardonnay arrived warm and had to be sent back to be chilled on ice, but when it was returned it was still warmer than when it first came. The steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly, but the TINY 5 oz. filet was disappointingly small. The server recommended the brussel sprouts, but they lacked flavor and were hard and raw on the inside. Overall, I was really looking forward to dining here but it was a letdown.
The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are fantastic, perfect for people-watching while you sit in the lobby of Union Station. Although it was a bit expensive to pay $50 for lunch, we still had a great time.
