Service was great, very attentive and the food was amazing!

Service was very slow, and food was incorrect on some sides

This will be my restaurant of choice when I go to a show at Uptown Theater, want to have a dinner for a special occasion, or anytime I’m in the neighborhood. It was such a wonderful dining experience: cozy atmosphere, attentive service, food to delight the palate with delicious, unique flavors.

I love the diversity on the menu and of course the selection of rum.

Went for a birthday celebration after the restaurant was recommended by The Fam’ as one of the greatest Caribbean spots in KC. Went during RW, so didn’t get to explore the menu like I wanted to, but the jerk chicken on ethnic bun was magical! Also the butter nut squash bisque was amazing. Drinks did not disappoint! Along with a rum punch old fashion, tried the St. Lucia rum flight. Everything was on point! Price point is for special occasions, but was a great break away from the typical dining experience in KC
