Majestic - Kansas City

This restaurant excels in atmosphere, service, and food. It has a chic appearance and live music, making it perfect for a date night. The cozy seating with dim lighting and fake candles adds to the romantic ambiance. The food was exceptional, especially the perfectly cooked and heavenly tasting steak.

The service at this restaurant was fast and excellent. I ordered the KC strip steak, but I did not enjoy it very much - it was just okay. The live jazz music added a nice touch to the dining experience.

The waiter was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the Jazz music was superb. We will definitely be coming back again.

OMG, why have I never been here before? This is now my go-to for celebrations and every other occasion I can think of. Everything was simply amazing! The service was impeccable, the food was incredible and the ambiance was perfect. Everything was over the top for our anniversary and we felt so special! We arrived an hour early to have a drink in the bar and instead were shown to our table to enjoy the band front and center. I was greeted with a beautiful rose and we finished the night with a complimentary dessert and champagne toast. It was the best!

We love the Majestic and will likely be back. However, this visit was definitely not ideal. The menu on their website is not accurate, and when asking about some of the listed vegetarian options (both as listed online and as we experienced our last visit in December), we were told that it's never updated. So, our server suggested the chicken confit without the chicken, or the beef stroganoff without the beef. Really? We understand that steaks are their specialty, but having one vegetarian in a group shouldn't be a deal breaker. Our server was very knowledgeable and personable, but he had way too many tables and even had to make our cocktails himself. As I initially stated, we will back at some point, but will now be a little less excited and tamper our normally high expectations of the Majestic.
