Iron Wok Chinese - Kansas City

We only ever order carry out so I can't speak to the ambiance, but the food is delicious and the portions are huge! One dish is enough for 3 meals. They also offer a large variety and a lot of different dishes compared to other Chinese restaurants. Try the walnut shrimp- it's sweet, but also creamy and delicious! Almost like a shrimp dessert.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Northland. The food is excellent, and the portions are quite generous. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the lunch special at just $8.50, which includes an entree, soup, and either an egg roll or crab rangoon. The decor is pleasing and clean, and the service is friendly. We plan to visit frequently!

The takeout is consistently quick and delicious! We went for appetizers this evening and sampled the egg rolls, chicken satay, steamed dumplings, and crunchy tuna rolls.

This is still one of our favorite spots for lunch. However, I've noticed that the portion sizes have been getting smaller, which is disappointing.

I have never had a problem with the iron wok until tonight my wife and I always get the same thing because it's always so good sweet and sour chicken for tonight the chicken was hard and we could not chew it don't get me wrong we will still patronize the iron wok but I spent over $70 I am disappointed to say the least.
