Fresh Donuts - Kansas City

Talk about a gem! This little place on the end of a strip mall cranks out some donuts like you would not believe!One of their specialties, that others have mentioned as well, is the cronut. It is layered and flaky like a croissant but sugary with a hole in the center like a doughnut; hence cronut! Worth a sample if you have a sweet tooth.They also have other donut shop offerings such as a variety of donuts, apple fritters and bismarks/long Johns; depending on what you’d like to call them. They also have some breakfast sandwiches, coffee and juices and milk.The staff are always friendly and pleasant which rounds out the experience.

REALLY good donuts. Their glazed raised were literally melt in your mouth delicious and imho gives another city favorite donut shop a run for their money.The cake donut I tried was also moist and delicious.This place is awesome.Now, apparently their known for their cronut . A glazed crossaint/donut. Personally I didn 't care for it at all. It had a good taste but it didn 't care for the layered and flaky feel of it. But that 's just my opinion. If I lived in the area, this would be my#1 donut place to visit.

Donuts 70 percent more sweet than Lamar’s. And twice the price for half the donuts .??beautiful nice clean establishment with nice people though.

For some place with an uninspired straight forward name they have probably the best donuts in the city. Their claim to fame is the square beautifully made, crispy, flakey cronut.
