Collection - Kansas City

This should be something Tia closes fast or at least dissociated by. To say the dishes were moderate and sub-standard would be a compliment. Belfry's offer was the only thing that kept us from going out. Very recommended for drinks before a Sprint Center event, but avoid PLEASE. Spend your at least one place that knows how to make a salad! It is a point to control anyone I know at any other place than Collection. You could have a nice pre-event appetizer tablet and cocktails at Pierpont for less......

What used to be the Kansas City Cafe is now collection. Chef Tio has assembled a menu with comfort food with the perfect updates for food!

We have a reservation for 2 at 8:30 on a Friday night. A little before 8:30 to find no one in the restaurant. The door was open, there were candles on the tables, but no cartridges, no hostess, apparently no staff. We're polite. There was a person standing at the bar and talking on the phone. Not sure he worked there at all.

The menu was small but powerful! There was a wide selection for every palate. The cook brought our dishes and was very friendly. The waiter gave us recommendations! A great night with great cocktails to choose from!

Food was average but Thursday night half price bottles of wine made for a very enjoyable evening.
