Carlo's - Kankakee

Like all Carlos’ restaurants can be met or miss, but most of the time their food is absolutely fantastic. The recent visit for me they had a banana bread French Toast Special. It's what's shown was absolutely fantastic. Delicious, without adding anything. All fruits, caramel and cream cheese in the middle makes it excessively sweet, but it is not at all. It's the perfect amount of sweet. The time before I had the regular French toast, which was also delicious. Pretty good coffee.

Absolutely ingenious at home cooking. I ate most sloppy breakfast, much too much great food at an affordable price. The waitresses were friendly and on site the whole visit. Very recommended

El Pastor Breakfast Special was really good. Not your traditional breakfast dish if you want to try something Dffrent. Server was very nice and often checked for us.

We always have the best experience here. Great service, the prices are such a bargain for the house style food. You're not hungry.
