Sea Legs Brewing Co - Kangaroo Point

I visited on a late Saturday, but unfortunately, the kitchen had already closed. Instead, I opted for a glass of tap beer, and the bartender suggested a selection that was pleasant—light, fruity, and with a hint of hops. However, while it was enjoyable, it didn't stand out compared to other craft breweries in Brisbane. The service was excellent and prompt. The venue had a bright atmosphere, was not crowded, and the noise level was minimal, making it an ideal spot to sit and chat with friends over beer and light bites. I would consider returning in the future if I'm in the area.

Amazing range of self made beers plus wines and some local made spirits. Why must the pizzas and chickens wings be so dam delicious?! We can't wait to get back to finish off the menu

When we arrived at the brewery, which has a typical warehouse-style layout for breweries, we noticed a mezzanine deck above and plenty of seating on the main floor, including a dog-friendly area at the front. We decided to sit upstairs to escape the noise from the bar area. Although the fan was broken and it was a bit warm, the staff promptly turned on the air conditioning when we asked. We ordered a guest cider and a Breakaway IPA. I opted for the West Coast IPA since I'm a fan of heavily hopped beers. The Breakaway had a bold aroma and a slightly sharp bitterness, with a notable kick from the higher alcohol content. For our meal, we shared 12 wings with Frank's hot sauce and a crispy chicken burger. The wings were deliciously crispy and had just the right level of spice; they would have been perfect with a bit of blue cheese sauce on the side. The burger was fantastic, especially with the garlic sauce we chose. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries that accompanied the burger were perfectly seasoned, and there were sauce bottles available near the bar counter. This meal was a great value at $16.50. The only thing that kept me from giving Sea Legs a five-star review was the absence of tasting paddles for the beer.

Really good local brewery! Loved the sour beers, especially the peach gose. Great ambiance in the beer hall with the string lights. The staff was friendly and gave helpful advice, we’ll be coming back!
