The staff was really friendly and supportive. The rooms were spacious and quiet. We spend a night and had a really good time.

We had an amazing meal here after a long day of seeing with our Tuktuk driver. The curry and rice dishes tasted authentic and made at home. A cold tiger beer rinsed everything. I appreciate the No-Nonsense style. It is not designed to provide hipsters or excessively touristic. It's just a tasteful restaurant that's clean and well occupied, and happens to make excellent food! The view of the river is the right winner here. When we came to lunch, it was relatively quiet and so to eat a treat with this view. Something else to note is that the bathrooms were clean. Not always the case, and I think it says a lot about a place. I hope the owner keeps all these qualities as it will certainly draw more and more customers when they do.

Our Tuktuk driver brought us here for lunch after a day of sightseeing. We were very excited because the place is beautiful with magnificent views of the river. The ambience is decent and very clean. The staff was all friendly and very helpful in describing menu items. We ordered the fish curry rice and chicken curry rice and with which they served us 4 types of vegetable dishes and daal and plaster. The whole food was delicious with very generous portions. One of the vegetable dishes was the wine Mango, which was something new for us and it was nice. You also have a wide selection of drinks. Great place for a meal with plenty of portions of good food and beer, great views and impeccable service. Not very expensive either (Meal for 2 with a few beers cost us about 2500LKR about 15USD)

Rice and curry lunch was great banana blossom Sambal was of particular note! Fried rice also too notch. Nice location on the river, close to botanical gardens.

Most important thing is they don't accept Credit or Debit cards. Cash only. Food service was very good. You will get a awesome view when you are dining in this restaurant.
