Chi Cheong Chinese - Kandy

The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the staff is amazing. We decided to have lunch there and everything was delicious. When it started to rain, they were very welcoming and allowed us to stay inside. They even offered us an umbrella when the rain didn't stop. We couldn't find any faults with them. I highly recommend coming to this restaurant.

Food is so-so, but drinks are overpriced and staff was not very welcoming. With a Rs meal I ended up also paying double this amount on drinks (water, ginger beer etc). All their prices were double the amount written on the drink’s label. water bottle said Rs the official price on the label, but they were asking Same for ginger beer and regular beer. Bottom line: acceptable for food, but better find another place if you’re also thirsty.

If I could give 0 Stars, I would. We were recommended this restaurant by the guesthouse owner. I assume he knows them or is affiliated with them. The place didn't look clean, but we decided to give it a try. The waitress gave us menus, and I noticed that the spring rolls were priced differently on each menu. When I asked her about it, she said that one menu was for Sri Lankan people. It was the same menu with a price difference in rupees. She was unapologetic about it, so we decided to leave. Based on the reviews here, it seems like we dodged a bullet. Definitely avoid this place!

Service is so slow, waited an hour for fried rice. they don't have any Chinese dishes. I don't know why it is called a Chinese restaurant. Choose a different restaurant.
