Soon Heng - Kanchanaburi

A traditional restaurant in ladya with decent pad Thai villages. it was known from the key offer pad thai rai sen, or pad thai without the nudel. other pad thai sorts include regular noodles and Vermincelli version. there are also other local dishes such as pla kang (flu fish) curry or fried pla kang offered with crumbles.

The recommends menu is Pad Thai. There are three types of Pad Thai, and it’s all delicious. If you are going to Erawan National Park, you will pass here.

Pad Thai is cooked dish by dish...so expect quite a long wait when crowded. Fish cake is outstanding but Padthai is a little above average. A nice place to stopover for a meal on the way to Erawan waterfall.

Pad Thai has a normal taste. It's not different from other Pad Thai restaurants. It's a bit oily, not much quantity, One dish may not be full. The price is a bit high compared to the overall quality.

Famous for padthai without noodles. Taste is on the sweet side as it is a sweet dish. But not bad at all. No specific wow factor but is ok if your in kanchanaburi area. It can get quite busy. Every dish is made one at a time especially the padthai so it can be very slow. Order all at once so you dont have to wait for a long time. Their krapow is not bad but their kai jiew (the omelette) is off putting. Dont recommend this dish. They dont take reservations so you can just walk in. Parking infront of store.
