Fratelli- Kanata

Extremely overpriced, and I did not like the carbonara pasta at all. Plus the wait time was never ending. They charge like $2 for the chilli sauce which is free like everywhere else and comes with the food. Fratelli Westboro is so much better and I also learned, that the owner is different from the one of Fratelli Kanata. I would not recommend this place at all.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with flavors and quality that reminded me of my food experiences in Italy last summer. I was happy to find gluten-free pasta on the menu, and even more pleased to see that they offer pizza on a cauliflower crust as well. I tried the fettuccine sila with a light, flavorful sauce that satisfied my craving perfectly. They also have two gluten-free dessert options, and I really enjoyed the chocolate mousse. The service was quick and friendly, and we had a comfortable meal on the patio despite the chilly night. The only downside was the noise level inside when the restaurant is full, making it hard to have a conversation. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and it's now a top choice for me when I'm in Kanata for business. They have a comprehensive gluten-free menu with many pasta and pizza options, and the staff are accommodating to dietary restrictions. There is plenty of free parking available in the shopping center lot.

Absolutely delicious and really great service! Really impressed with the portions, too! Will definitely come back if in the area again!

Great atmosphere and our server was amazing.We got the charcuterie to start, which was delicious. I had a caesar...which, as a simple drink, I would say is overpriced.My 2 friends enjoyed their entrees while I found mine to be a bit bland and dry for pasta!Would go back and try a different dish for sure!
