Certain that this is the cleanest restaurant in town. Staff are friendly and warm, service is quick, food is always very fresh, generously portioned and piping hot. I think this may be the best franchise branch of a large chain restaurant I have ever been to. If you?re wanting to go when it?s not crowded, try going for dinner on a Sunday. If you don?t like coleslaw order the smaller appetites menu, it?s the same meal just without the coleslaw and it?s a little cheaper. (Though their coleslaw is delicious if you?re a coleslaw lover like me! . Amazed by how clean the backsplash behind the fryer is. I?ve both cooked an eaten in 5 star restaurants that weren?t that clean. Way to go team!

My fiance and myself recently had our first experience with this restaurant. I had a large caesar salad. It was very good and large enough even for a big eater like myself. My fiance had fish (Cod) and chips which she enjoyed very much. The service was excellent. The staff are very friendly, polite and attentive. They make sure you are looked after while you are there. We were both really quite pleased with the service and the food. I would however like to discuss another point upon which the staff excelled. My fiance has a service dog. As we are about town together with the dog a lot, we encounter all manner of adversity from people who can see quite clearly that she is not blind. Often people make uneducated ASSUMPTIONS aboout this fact and come to the erroneous conclusion that he is a therapy dog, or just plain fake. The TRUTH of the matter is, her service dog is MORE critical to her than a seeing-eye dog is to many blind people. I have known a few blind people (also dated one years ago) They get around better with their dogs but, they are usually quite skilled at getting around with a cane as well. My fiance has a faulty vagus nerve which is located at the base of the brain and extends down into the body. It is responsible for regulating autonomous body functions like heart rate, respiratory rate, body temperature as well as many other functions. Most people when they get scared, will experience increased heart rate and get a shot of adrenaline. Her Vagus nerve often gets things backward and for example, her heart rate may go down instead. Various other issues can occur during an episode as well. For example, if she gets too hot such as on a hot summer day, she can pass out. Sometimes when this happens, she also stops breathing. The service dog is able to smell changes in her blood that signal upcoming episodic events as much as 45 minutes in advance which can often mean avoiding the episode altogether. Went for dinner. Everything was fine until one of the people in our party found a large wad of chewed chewing gum in their mouth which came from the coleslaw salad. The waitress was very apologetic but the manager refused to come see us. Thankfully the meal was covered but don?t think we will be back.

In moments of distress, her heart rate may drop instead of rise, and she can experience episodes that might lead to fainting or even stopping breathing, especially in hot weather. Fortunately, her service dog can detect changes in her blood chemistry up to 45 minutes in advance, allowing her to avoid episodes. The dog often remains close to her, providing comfort and stability. Upon entering the restaurant, we did notice some odd looks from about five patrons—something we're used to, given society's tendency to judge what they do not understand. However, the restaurant staff were incredibly attentive and respectful; they had no issues at all with the dog and even expressed curiosity about his role. We welcomed their questions, and through friendly interaction, they left with a better understanding of our situation. Education is crucial in bridging understanding among people. Ignorance can lead to misunderstandings, often in a hurtful manner. I mention this for two reasons: first, to commend the staff at C Lovers for their outstanding service and their patient, understanding nature; and second, to encourage readers to refrain from passing judgment on what they do not understand. I think this might be the best franchise location of a major chain restaurant that I've ever visited. If you're looking to avoid crowds, I recommend going for dinner on a Sunday. If you're not a fan of coleslaw, you can order from the smaller appetites menu, which offers the same meal without the coleslaw and at a slightly reduced price. (But if you love coleslaw like I do, you’ll find theirs to be delicious!) I was truly impressed by how clean the backsplash behind the fryer was; I've cooked in and dined at five-star restaurants that weren't this spotless. Great job, team!
