Contribuiți la feedbackThe restaurant is only open on weekends at night, so it's a bit lonely, but the udon here is really delicious. My recommended dish is definitely the "nabe-yaki udon". The broth in this dish is slightly sweet and very tasty. The staff at the restaurant are also very kind and friendly.
If you were to ask what the best meal in Kamigori is, the answer would likely be Aoi's udon. In a town where restaurants are scarce, Aoi's hand-made udon stands out as the best option. Located within walking distance from the station with a small yet adequate parking lot, it is recommended not only to locals but also to visitors from outside the town. The menu includes hot and cold udon, set meals, rice dishes, and nabemono, with prices that are reasonable. The Gomoku rice is delicious, and for first-time visitors, the Gomoku rice set meal is recommended. The distinctive feature of the hand-made udon here is the thin noodles, each one alive with a firm texture and a smoothness. My favorite dish here is definitely the cold Yamakake udon. Unlike chain restaurants, the amount of mountain vegetables atop the noodles is generous and perfectly mixed, creating a superb bowl. If you're in Kamigori for lunch, be sure to visit Aoi's.
The taste of the tempura donburi is incredibly delicious. The nabe-yaki udon and takikomigohan are also excellent.
