Sam's Indian Kamala Phuket

Sam ' Indian resturant came to us as a breath of fresh air. Authentic Indian food away from home and next door at Radisson Resort, Kamala Beach, meant we did not have to venture much when it came to savour some Ghar Ka khana . Mr.Pradip his son Mr.Ramlal was extremely friendly, knew exactly what we wanted on our palate and served it with affection love. No surprise, the food was finger liking tasty flavourful. We had Aloo Gobhi, Mutton masala, various parathas and everything was equally good. I was particularly impressed with quality of mutton and the preparation. Owners Mr.Chaurasiya 's are 6th 7th generations in Thailand but with strong roots to their native Gorakhpur in UP. They were extremely hospitable and guided us really well in our tourism agendas. I would strongly recommend this place for all tourists visiting Kamala, Patong Phuket area to experience the Indian food culture which Sam 's Indian restaurant would dish it out for you. Mr G and I ventured away from our normal Bang Tao area to try a “new to us” location for Indian food. Tucked away on a small, winding road leading to the Raddison, parking was a bit challenging. The sole employee greeted us warmly and gave us menus. We soon said that we were vegan and he was able to understand that meant no milk and no butter were to be used in our dishes. Everything had very good flavor, without tasting all the same between dishes. We’ll certainly come back again when wanting to try more of their dishes.

My wife and I live in Washington, DC and have tried all of the top rated Indian restaurants in the area. Sam’s is better than all of them. All dishes are made fresh, so takes a bit of time, totally worth it. Very friendly and helpful staff that truly cares about its product. Awesome relaxed hole-in-the-wall ambience. We’ll be back any time we’re in Phuket!

This is my first time try Indian food, it was so Good , wish we could come back often if we live here but definitely come back here again
