ClayHut - Kalpatta

We decided to have lunch at an unusual time, around 3:45, and it was probably not the best choice for a vegetarian meal. However, we noticed that even the non-vegetarian dishes being served were receiving complaints about the taste. We were expecting a simple meal of dal, chapati, and vegetables, or some basic snacks like pakoras. When we requested this, the server assured us that they would "manage" and confidently promised that we would enjoy whatever they served. However, after waiting for 30 minutes, we were served oily pakoras with a bad tomato chutney, something akin to Akki roti, and an unidentifiable dal. None of the dishes had any flavor and left us extremely unsatisfied. Overall, it was a very disappointing meal that did not even fill us halfway.

I went to this restaurant for lunch and ordered the chicken 65. The food was just okay, with the chicken 65 being okay as well. I think they could improve the rice that came with the meal. The atmosphere was calm, but overall there is a lot of room for improvement.

Unfortunately, we were unable to sample the food during our visits as both attempts to dine here were unsuccessful. On the first occasion, the head chef had apparently left early, causing the restaurant to close early. They did assure us that they would be open until at least 9:30 or 10pm the following night, but to our disappointment, we were told at 8pm that they were closing and our request for a quick meal was denied.

We tried this place after seeing the reviews here. It was really good, very fresh food and really great decor. It was a little difficult to find but was so glad that we did! Excellent!

Nice place, courteous staff. good ambience and very good food at affordable price.Only drawback was the delay in serving the food
