The Centurion Suite By American Express

First, they do a terrible job explaining when doors open: 90 mins before, not 2 like other premium lounges or whatever. Second, the Amex entryway makes it harder to get a table, because it’s around the corner from the actual entrance. Use the DRLA bar one. Of course then there’s a huge line there, because it’s for all the suites, like the Yaamavaa one. The lounge itself is tiny and cramped and has nothing like enough tables or seats. Every part of this was terrible and made the gameday experience vastly worse.

Most people should already know, but to access this Suite, you need an AmEx Platinum (or, the elusive, Centurion card and you can bring a maximum of 2 free guests with you.(Don't forget you have to bring your ID and AmEx card, otherwise you will not be let in to the lounge. Your guests also get a max of 2 free drinks each.It is a rather limited space, which is why the lines form quick and end up ending quick too.Doors open 1.5 hours before puck /ball drop, and on the weekends, after 30 minutes of doors opening, lines have formed and less than an hour, the lounge is at capacity. The capacity is 150 and it does get filled rather quickly.I do have to note that I haven't always had the best of experiences here, on some occasions, people fight their way to the line and are rude about it. Some even have lied that the Suite is full to deter others from going.Once you get in line, an attendant will give you a bracelet and up you go.Take a look at what Jon K wrote about accessing the lounge for a more finding the line and getting into the lounge upstairs.The seating is geared more towards counter seating for views of the arena, wtih a handful of high top tables they all have limited view of the arena, however.The service every time I've been has been fast, although it can be slow due to the number of people in there, and only one bar to order from.The staff were all very nice here.Pro tip: There's a dedicated AmEx entrance on the side, if you want to use that to enter the stadium. I definitely recommend coming to the Centurion Suite if you can!(One star off for the terrible accessibility to this place, to form a line, and how small it is.

I realize this lounge has received some bad reviews, but I had to post a review highlighting the positives. First of all, what the most disturbing thing is the rudeness of many of the people who literally fight their way to be first in line once the arena opens. At least one member of their party is an AMEX Platinum (or Centurion) card holder, yet some of the people have no class. People basically will run over others, similar to a Black Friday or big screen tv giveaway just for their favorite spot inside the lounge. Unbelievable! Anyway, back to the good news. They recently remodeled the seating (more counter seating for views of the arena, less high-top tables with limited view of the arena). Some like it, some do not. Our Kings season seats are much better than this lounge, so we don 't come with the intention of watching the game. We eat here prior to and during warm-ups, then return to our seats. The view of the game is pretty good if you don 't have a limited view (rink blocked by a wall or pillar), and the audio sound is pretty bad. The game PA is very difficult to understand due to the acoustics of this lounge area. Watching the game from here would only be an upgrade if your seats were one of the end views of the upper 300 section. Otherwise, I 'd much rather watch the game from my seats. Scott (one of their bartenders) and LaTisha (server) are two of the best reasons we love coming to this lounge! They are the nicest, friendliest, and most hospitable staff and always take the very best care of us every time we visit! The food is pretty good (at least their Wagyu cheeseburger chicken Caesar salad are)! Service may get a tad slower once the lounge (capacity of 150) is getting close to its capacity, but, no slower than any other sit down eatery within the general admission area of the arena. PROS: service of Scott LaTisha. CONS: some of the people you may run into as they rush past you to get access wristbands to enter the lounge.

You need to be here at least 1.5 hours before tipoff to secure a spot in the suite. Essentially, everyone goes and camps there the entire game so if you aren't early enough to get seats then you'll be left standing. The other option is go early and get two free drinks and head back to your seats

This was the worst experience! Paid $50 for it !!American Express lounge in LA while heading to Italy. The food was horrible! The worst! Dried up pan seared chicken (ugh) over-cooked veggies and cold pastas to salty Caesar salad. Cookies were ok! My hasband got in free because of his card but could not have his wife!! I had to pay $50 that I am very angry about it because there was nothing to eat except bad and unhealthy food! Ugh
