Contribuiți la feedbackIs it just me that wishes that the shrimp tacos had more flavor going on in the inside...it's just mushy flavorless paste..but despite this..it's still pretty damn goodCeviches good too..wish the pieces of seafood wasn't so chopped up...I sound like a hater, I'm not! I love coming here but just being hyper critical
I can't stop talking about the tacos de camaron here!! I stopped here as a self made taco tour and had to get it based off the reviews. I was not disappointed at all. The tacos came out fresh and the service was so fast. Once we jumped on line, a line quickly formed which the business had no issue knocking out due to how efficient they are. I will definitely be back!
I love the original location, I love the restaurant they put up a handful of years ago in Pomona, and this truck location on S La Cienega was on the way to an old job of mine, so I would stop through and grab two tacos for a quick afternoon bite. This is a place I preach about to everyone I meet. This is my favorite truck in all of LA. The staff at this truck are great like all the other locations, and here I often would bump into the owner Raul 's son... which is alway a pleasure. One memorable visit here... I straight up heard a 30-something dude on the phone with his friend on speaker phone, who was scolding him for buying oysters from a truck... I told him not to worry and that his mind would be blown... he looked at me with a huge smile after his first oyster and when I handed him their house made habanero chile (worth the extra $3.50) he said it put the flavor over the top. My ONLY complaint about any of their locations is that the habenero chile is extra... the house chile is like tomato water... it does not add to the flavor in any way imo... and it has like zero heat... I know they used to put people on blast who were stealing the bottles of chile, so maybe that 's why they stopped having the bottles out cos people were stealing the good stuff all the time. I may be a white boy but I got Mexican taste buds god dammit. May it be many many decades from now, but this would be my request for a last meal if I were in that situation... it 's phenomenal! Couple tips to know:*oyster are only served Friday, Saturday maybe Sunday*buy the $3.50 habanero chile as it changes the flavor profile for an even better experience *if you order and end up wanting seconds, don 't wait in line at the order window, just let them know at the pickup window that you 've already eaten and you 'd like more... they 'll still make you pay of course, but if you 're having seconds, they let you skip the line .
First visit after hearing so many rave reviews! There's a couple locations, but this was closest to where we were so we got 3 shrimp tacos to try. I have to say it's definitely worth the bang for your buck- $2.50 per taco it has fresh shrimp, generous amount of avocado over a crispy taco covered in great salsa! I really enjoyed it but felt like it tasted much better with the hot sauce. We parked down the street and just ate at the stools so the food would be fresh- I think it comes deconstructed if you ask for to go. Will definitely be back to try some of the other items like the ceviche Poseidon tostada though
This place is great ? Super generous with their seafood. The Poseidon is spicy and refreshing.
