Dulan's On Crenshaw

I got the meatloaf with a side of greens which needed some love like a little more seasoning also it came with macaroni and cheese the Mac was overcooked and needed seasoning too I'm a macaroni expert and theirs did not impress me at all the best part of the plate was the meatloaf and mashed potatoes those two were nice together...just be prepared to spend 25$ for meatloaf and two sides and be prepared to be convinced to add another side for 3$ and with the extra side is about $30

The food was great and the owner Dulan worked hard to make sure everyone felt welcomed.

I went with my cousin who was visiting one Sunday for brunch and we both threw our food away. I felt bad but my catfish was over breaded and not tasty at all! Some may like the collards greens, I personally don’t care for vinegar in my greens, the black eyed peas were ok and the cornbread extra dry, impossible to chew. The staff was friendly and the restaurant seating area was basic. I do not recommended but if you want to support cool but unfortunately it’s not good to me. I’m from the south and this ain’t it. I suggest call ahead, parking is street parking only, there’s usually a line and about a 20 minute wait for food.

The turkey wing was undercooked; it seemed more stewed than baked, okra, corn and tomato was lacking tomatoes. Plus the corn muffins were hard. Okra cuts were some small some large
