The atmosphere is just like a mysterious symphony, adding to the whole experience. The portions are generous. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was so creamy and flavorful but don’t ever missed the soufflé ! it’s te signature definitely worthy for waiting

The place deserves to be visited by lovers of patisseries. Nice decor and space, full on weekends. The sweets have an incredible and delicate presentation! The service is not the highlight when first approached, but the waiter who speaks Portuguese was very polite, friendly, efficient and empathetic! Congratulations!

I don’t often disagree with the masses (ok, that’s a lie), but here I am. First of all my personal waiter was flippant, impatient, and couldn’t care less about my dining experience. I asked for recommendations and a) the guy didn’t seem to be informed about the menu, and b) he clearly hated his job and wanted to finish his shift he even expressed this to me at some point. Let’s get to the food now. I ordered the fish dish (priced at over $40) and honestly? It wasn’t that impressive. It was overly salty, the sauce was too flavourful in an overwhelming sense, and overall it wasn’t particularly satisfying to eat. The watercress salad and dressing was the best part honestly. I’m not really a macaron person either, but I tried them anyway thanks to the manager who was actually very kind and tried to amend the waiter situation. However I can’t say I was blown away by them either. The only non disappointing facet to this restaurant was the wine and the dessert wine. Overall, the place lacks ambiance, it has annoyingly terrible sound clattering (you can hear almost every conversation taking place in the restaurant), and the waiters are all stressed and miserable. I mean, no one likes working in hospitality but at least fake a smile here and there, especially for a restaurant with above average prices. I came to Bottega Louie 2 years ago and had some kind of pasta ragu, and it was underwhelming as well. Honestly, if you’re in the area and want to try good food nearby go to Joyce Soul and Sea or Joey’s.
