Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Downtown Los Angeles

Great place and awesome to be able to order food, but after watching oppenheimer my ears have been ringing now for three hours and i feel like they will continue to do so. Had to cover my ears several times because their sound system was mind numbingly loud. Love the place but after this experience I wouldn't go there again for anything dramatic/action.

The pre-film show was wonderful. The film was fantastic. The food and service here were absolutely wonderful. I had a satisfyingly full stomach and equally satisfying service from the profoundly excellent service from the wait staff. I look forward to going here again in the future!

This is a great place for people of all ages! Though located on the top floor of The Bloc, it is wheelchair accessible and very fun! The have karaoke and discounted movies on Tuesdays too.I’d say the food is priced/tastes about as good as you’d get at Red Robin. Candy is soooo over priced $5 for a regular sized M&M /Sour Patch Kids Overall fun experience : and very friendly staff

First Time Review How fun to have an actual meal while watching a movie!You check in with the cashier at the Alamo Drafthouse and then ride the escalator up to the movie theater. This has been here for quite some time. How did I finally experience this at age 52??? I need to get out more!The bathroom stalls are unisex and an open sink area to wash your hands. I'm ok with all this found this so fascinating. Each stall is your own private toilet room. Tiled floor to ceiling. So cool!!!We ordered the following (sorry no photos):•Truffle Parmesan Popcorn•Chicken Cesar•Breakfast Club (came with fries, delicious!)Come early if you want to order the Blueberry Donut French Toast Bake. Our movie started at 10am and they ran out of the BDFT Bake.Everything we ordered was delicious!!! The flavored popcorn was a delicious twist to plain buttered. The Breakfast Club has arugula lemon aioli which I think is great paired with the thick cut bacon and fried egg. The Cesar Salad came with your choice of crispy or grilled chicken. We went grilled. AND they have Sweet Tea!!!! YUMMO!Service was great!!! There are little sheets of paper a pen. Write down whatever you would like to order or are in need of, press a button a server comes over to see what is needed. Love this system. Minimal disturbance to your neighboring moviewatchers. Brilliant!!I really cant wait to go watch a movie here again. It is such a treat! And after the movie, go back down the escalator checkout the bar/pub vibe to chillax with a beer enjoy music of the DJ. Who would have thought you could eat brunch, watch a movie, order drinks chillax at a pub all in one location!!!Thanks for reading.

The place is clean. The seats can automatically recline. The food is better than what you would get at an Amc or Edwards. The drinks are weak, though. It is nice that there are wide aisles between the seat rows, so it is easy to go the bathroom. It also is great that the metro stop is right in front of the theater.
