You can also get a bottle of champagne and a side of O.J. for $24. Our food came out quickly and everything was tasty. They also gave us a basket of mini pastries that were delicious! I especially loved the blueberry crumble bar. Hosted by Maebe a Girl, the drag show was so much fun! Two hours a great entertainment! The Drag Queens were fabulous and on point! They even had a male burlesque performer, who was just great and made us all laugh! This was such a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon! I definitely recommend
Open 24/7 popped in just for coffee and catch up on emails before killer workouts ..Good Morning? The Restaurant The Standard on 6th Flower gets my vote and recommend for its convenient to me location, cleanliness, simple menu and great service. Probably would equate this place to an rad upscale deli that's not that noisy early weekdays; I can hear myself think. When I'm wanting something and not a hugh breakfast fan, but I do like the smoked salmon Lox plate. It's comes spread out on your plate and you can construct an open face sandwich with the bagel, onion, tomato, capers, arugula. Usually ask for more arugula and skip the bagel, so I don't ruin all that early morning workout effort. Eating this really pairs well with a Bloody Mary, will not get it now: . since I have work to do and it's calling me...
Loved our weekend at the Standard last week, thank you to Dawn Olson for making it amazing! We started off our Sunday morning with brunch at this restaurant downstairs The decor reminds of eggs and egg yolks! They also have a super cute outdoor patio avocado toast: yummy, fresh avocado and toasty bread, can't go wrong lettuces: a light tossed salad, great for sharing new york steak with fries: fries were solid and steak was cooked well mimosas for 2: refreshing, they serve it with a bottle of prosecco instead if champagne So convenient to have this in the lobby of the Standard hotel
The more and more I come to this restaurant the worse it gets. Been coming here on and off for 4 years. Want to say I visit at least 4 times a year. Recently came here about a week ago and order the French toast. On the menu it says served with FRESH FRUITs. The waiter brought us out this tired a French toast. Then I asked where 's the fruit? Bus boy says oh he didn 't have it ordered in. I say on the menu it says served with fruit. He states we have the fresh fruit jam or banana. Obviously they don 't pay attention to their own menu.
This place has been in my life since I've been out here yet I've only eaten here a few times. Most recently (this would have been early March at this point), I wandered in since I had checked out the menu online the night prior and I was working in the area. I really wanted to try-of all things-one of two desserts (Strawberry shortcake or the birthday cake). I go to check out a menu onsite and of course, neither are represented. Nice guy at the counter said they JUST changed the menu earlier that month (typical as I have terrible timing). So I end up getting something the complete opposite (and more than what either cake would have been): the Cobb Salad minus egg. They don't have house bread and if I had wanted bread, it would have been an additional $8. Even though it sounded good (focaccia now instead of rustic bread), I wasn't going to do that. Waited about five minutes or so, and this wasn't a chopped salad, but I could kind of do that on my own. Ended up eating some of this in the car ride and I have to say this was unexpectedly good. There was a lot of bacon, the good crispy kind, so much so that I had some on my last forkfuls. Plenty of percorino cheese, more than a few tomatoes, a healthy dose of lemon vinaigrette, but the only downfall was very minimal avocado. However, the taste of this combined was delicious, and I was happy with my selection. I don't find myself downtown much at all but hopefully next time I am, I'll be closer to the restaurant at The Standard. I usually preferred this food over the selections at their sister Sunset Blvd. location anyway since they switched over to pop-ups and healthier fare. Overall, both locations offer at least one thing I'd eat so I'm game.
