Trout Town Tavern Eatery - Kalkaska

Trout Town was quite busy during our visit, but the service was excellent. The only slight delay we experienced was in receiving our to-go containers for the food we couldn't finish. A friend and I, who don’t meet up as often as we should, spent more than an hour enjoying a delicious meal together. We usually go to another restaurant that is currently undergoing renovations, but after this experience, Trout Town might just become our new regular spot for dinner.

The food is outstanding! It always tastes incredible, and we try something different every time we visit.

I'll definitely be returning! The fish special on Thursdays and Fridays is amazing. I just wish they had a bar to sit at instead of only having tables and booths.

We are on our way to the lakes, staying nearby from 6 hours away. Found this place by looking up food places. The staff were nice, efficient, and the bathroom was clean. The food was sooo good. we ordered a reuben, pretzels, mozzarella sticks, and the perch. Along with two appetizers and a beer. Everything was delicious, my husband said the perch was the best he's ever had. The mozzarella sticks were great.

The perch is fantastic for dinner, the whitefish sandwich is great for lunch. Will come back when I'm in the area again!
