Kalispell Brewing Company

We stopped here after a day of hiking in Glacier National Park. We ordered a flight from the bar and sandwiches from the food truck out back. The drinks were good, the hazy IPA was my favorite. I was hoping for a bigger selection but wasn’t disappointed with the selections.The food truck had good fries with a very good, but spicy, chipotle dipping sauce for the fries. The sandwich was a bit small but otherwise tasted good. Signs in the brewery indicated the food truck was no longer going to be serving food there in the future so I’m not sure what will replace it.

These guys were nice. I had two different brews $5/12oz) and both were good. Nice atmosphere, tunes, and beer service was limited to a single bartender as far as I could tell). I'd go back, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

An adorable brewing company in the middle of Kalispell. They offered a variety of different kings of beers. I went with a sour and really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and chatty. There is a brewery law in MT that only allows them to serve each person a max of 48oz of beer so they serve all their beers in 12oz glasses as opposed to a pint. Trivia and live music are around in the evenings too!

Despite some of the cliquey and touristy feel of many Kalispell establishments, Kalispell Brewing Company managed to avoid many of the pitfalls commonly associated with resort town businesses. We were welcome and the locals were nice and inviting. The beer was very good. Typical Montana selection seems a little bit behind the times of what would be considered a modern tap-list ; but if the beer is great, who cares if it is trendy. I had all the lagers and the IPAs. Filled up a couple mini-growlers to enjoy back at the hotel. The dunkel and the doppelbock both were absolutely first rate. Zero complaints. I wish I could get their lagers fresh in Boise, but for now, I will just have to stop in while traveling or beg employees to find space in their coolers when they stop in Flathead County.
