Carriages Restaurant - Kalgoorlie

The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious and I really enjoy their menu. The staff is very friendly and I always have a great time here!

I had reserved a table for one at this restaurant. I ordered garlic bread and a steak. I asked for the garlic bread after waiting for 30 minutes, and my main meal still hadn't arrived after 40 minutes. I reminded the waitress again, and at 45 minutes I gave an ultimatum of 2 minutes or I would leave. The garlic bread was very good, but my main meal arrived on a cold plate with half cold vegetables. However, I gave the restaurant 3 stars because the steak was excellent and cooked as ordered. The saving grace was that my drink and garlic bread were not charged for, with an apology given.

The portions at this restaurant are large and well-prepared, but it may not be considered fine dining. The menu offers a good variety of choices that should appeal to most tastes.

The food and service in this restaurant were excellent. the breakfast was a cooked breakfast and offers an excellent selection of food.

The buffet breakfast is probably one of the best I have had. Dinner was very nice, although there was a bit of a wait for the food.
