They actually put their money where it is mouth when it comes to maintaining the environment. 50c out if you hold your own cup that could be a small step, but if any takeaway coffee spot in Australia takes over this initiative, it would make a big difference. Five stars from me.

This restaurant consistently serves good coffee, with long queues on weekends and holidays. Using their app is recommended to avoid wait times. In addition to coffee and hot food, they have a well-stocked food department with many surprises. Their wine and beer selection caters to all tastes and budgets. I have been a regular customer for over four years, even during Covid lockdowns, and have brought many family and friends for coffee and food.

I evaluate the Chifley food trader who is led by the same people on a similar model to Spence, but not on TripAdvisor. The reason is to warn anyone about the terrible experience I had last mother's day when I waited 45 minutes... for two coffees because they were so understated. When I asked after half an hour, I was told that I stopped interrupting the busy staff and waited my turn, and when I finally got my coffees and commented on the bad service and waiting time, I was informed that I was telling about the waiting time at the beginning (which I definitely wasn't) and accusing to mouth them to other waiting customers that I didn't do, the other customers complained about their own chalk completely! If you are in Chifley and want a coffee, I highly recommend getting one at A Bite To Eat and skipping the grocery store completely. Coffee at A Bite to Eat is much better quality and always serves immediately and politely despite the fact that they are usually much more business than this abyssive establishment.

My son lives in Spence and I frequently visit to spend time with his dogs. For some reason, they always bring me to this restaurant and insist that I try their cakes or pastries along with a hot chocolate. The food is delicious and they offer a wide variety of cakes and pastries. The hot chocolates are also excellent, despite being on the smaller side. The restaurant also has a selection of items that you can't find in larger supermarkets. As a previous reviewer mentioned, every neighborhood should have a place like this.

Every suburb should have one of these. Why they chose Spence I'll never know but they certainly make it work
