Little Thailand Restaurant - Kaleen

My benchmark for the best Thai I've ever had was a little family run restaurant in the 1980s called the Thai Room. Measure against that Little Thailand Restaurant is good My orders consisted of chicken wings entree and the salt/pepper squid. I liked my dishes and the speed of the service. Also good value. I'll come again to try some of the other dishes.

I was initially skeptical as the store only had a few patrons. Then I realized it was only 6pm on a Tuesday night. Within 15mins of me entering the place started filling. That's when I knew I made the right choice. I ordered my chicken vegetables stir fry and one serve of rice and dug into my dinner. WOW, WOW, WOW......the flavour was imensely orgasmic and mind blowing.....A bit descriptive?? I don't care, it was that good and for $15, a **** good feed. Will I go back there when in Canberra next.....depending on where I'm staying I will definately do my best. Am I picky and selective when it comes to good flavoursome food, you bet. Do I recommend this place for a great Thai feed, YES!!

When in Australia we love to eat at a Chineese resturant or go Thai and in Dixon there are a number of Resturant's in this parade. Adjacent Resturant's were busy with local clients when we went to the Little Thailand but this resturant was empty when we arrived and remained so during our stay with ourselves being the only clients. No issues with service here. We opted for the set meat buffet which was good value for our group of four and offered a good mix with a choice of red or green curry in the mix. When we received the dishes which were plentlyful we were disappointed at the blandness. Even the curry dish was watery and lacked the expected pizazz. Vegetables were soft suggesting that they were frozen and we began to wonder if the whole buffet was out of the deep freeze as it all lacked that crisp fresh wok feel. There are better places around the area than this and whilst my colleagues and I would say it was "ok" we certainly could not recommend.If the locals are not using it there is a clue when the places next door are full and Little Thailand is empty. The decor too needs some attention with walls decorated in cheap Thailand tourist posters taped to the walls and windows it has a pop up style atmosphere supported the remnants of the Christmas decorations still hanging up in May when we visited. Could do better.

The food is very perfect, the test is nice and staff is also friendly. We recommend for people who love Thai food to come and try in Little Thailand restaurant.

If we feel like Thai food, we head to the Little Thailand Restaurant. We don't have to order, we walk in and they know what we usually order. Great food and service.
