Cafe on Benjamin - Kaleen

Stop at a lot of cafes in my work travels all over Canberra, and have found Café on Benjamin to have really nice coffee which comes with a warm welcome, smile and greeting and a great bikky. the muffins are fresh and H & C croissants are great and recommend the E & B rolls. well worth a visit.

Shopping hard for a wedding ring and sunglasses it was time for a coffee and a treat for being a good boy. Popped into CoB , greeted with a smile and a hello how are you today? We placed our order and it arrived in quick time and as ordered, Hot, weak and skinny. I had a carrot cake and my wife had an apple crumble cheesecake (we shared the cheesecake, to die for)Thanks all, this happy boy refreshed and ready for more shopping. See you again soon.

Staff were attentive to ensure order and needs were met.Coffee was good, on the milky side but good.Food was delivered quickly, good size servings with fresh produce.Attentive staff on hand to assist and clear away in a timely manner.A very pleasant experience, somewhat surprisingly quiet given the location and foot traffic through the area.Not sure where the bad reviews are coming from as this venue has never failed to deliver on service, food and engagement.

I go to a lot of coffee shops in and around the ACT and I have my own fussy issues on the temperatures I like it at. Each place I've been to that serves lurk warm coffee I always put a complain to the staff member but on this occasion, visiting this cafe, I had to put a comment on paper. The coffee temperature was ridiculous & I asked a few times to please make it hot. Yeah we know that coffee served at a hot temperature can burn, but if a customer asks for it just do it please. When I asked a few times the staff member seemed to get annoyed and had a look on their face like JABBA THE HUT! Ain't going back there.

I was greeted by a smiling staff member who had a great friendly personality. The selection of food covered a wide variety of tastes and diets fir everyone. The food and coffee service was quick and both tasted as good as they looked. Whilst I was there on a Friday lunchtime and had a coffee, I noticed that they had a selection of wines and beers available as well. The staff mentioned that they also do drinks and tapas on a Friday evening and will soon also have live entertainment. I would highly recommend this place. Well worth a visit and I know I will definitely go back. Looking forward to checking out their Friday evening drinks/tapas.
