Amazing place, so peaceful and relaxing. We camped right on the edge of the river just upstream from the homestead in an area called Horse Flats West. Beautiful area that was fairly flat with grass and plenty of ghost gums for shade. The track in was rocky and there was a steep downhill entrance to get onto the flats. Getting out could have been tricky but we found the Frypan Track was a much easier way of exiting this area. Information on these areas and more are provided when you book. Staff at the Homestead we really informative and helpful when we arrived. We will definitely be heading back to explore more of the station.
