Contribuiți la feedbackIf you just want a coffee, cake or a all day breakfast or a lunch, this is a fabulous place, with Asian influence if you like. Home baked cakes, quiches & pies. Absolutely wonderful food all day.
I have been in twice this month with a friend & with my husband.I have only ordered eggs on toast & a coffee so as far as that goes it is pretty standard. But the staff are very polite. The cakes & baked goods look fabulous. As other reviews have said there is all day breakfast, a variety of simple Western foods & Asian options also. The cafe is very clean & simple with counter service. Will definately be going back & trying something new next time.
Located behind Kalamunda Centro Crema first appears to be an unassuming cafe. It's one of my favourite places which I visit regularly. The coffee is served hot and tastes good, they have a nice selection of slices, Portuguese Tarts, cookies, fresh fruit juices (made to order), plus a wide variety of Asian and Western foods. Some of my favourites is the LemonGrass Beef and Fresh Spring Rolls. They also make some amazing quiche and pies. Although I have been going to this cafe for several years it was only last Saturday that I tried one of their meat pies. I was delighted with the tender beef and vegies that filled the pie, it wasn't like your usual pie that are filled with gravy - this one was full of flavourful meat encased in what appeared to be home made pastry. The staff are friendly but a little on the reserved side. They have recenly updated the seating at the cafe which has given it a nice ambience. It's a favourite of many locals lookiing for a place to enjoy a relaxing cuppa while they read the newspaper.
Ups and downs - the menu is split into standard Australian cafe fayre with a few Asian options.I had the wonton soup special, although I had asked for it with noodles in which they forgot. The toasted sandwiches were pretty standard, coffee fairly average.Prices are odd in that some things were more expensive than I thought they should be and some cheaper. The prices all collect in a middle ground! On a pedestrian mall where there are Sunday morning markets.
Initially wanted to dine elsewhere but walked through town centre and came across crema. It was hard to tell if it was open as it was very quiet. The venue was clean, quiet and the order was processed quickly. 3 mugs of cappuccino $4.50 each, then grilled fish with salad $13.90, pumpkin soup, chips and a chicken and avocado/salad sandwich. Portions were plentiful $45 for 3 people. A lovely quiet place. I will return.
