The Old Goat Tavern - Kalamazoo

Came here for dinner today with my fiance and soon to be mother in law. We really enjoyed this place! The service is great! Our waitress was really cool and she had fast, attentive service. We were sad to hear she is leaving soon.We started with the truffle fries. Those were really good! The perfect texture, and that aioli was awesome! I got the GOAT Burger. That lives up to its name, it is amazing! Wow! And the spicy cheese curds, especially with the spicy ranch, are delicious as well! Wisconsin could learn a lesson from these! We would definitely return!

Classic college bar. Cheap drinks, cute waitresses. You just have to know what you are getting yourself into. I didn't eat any food.

Our server was great! Wish I could give him more stars. Our first visit here and we'll be back for sure. Food was good and Sundays are 40% food and drinks. What's not to like about that. We were going to go to the competitor down the road but they didn't have a cook. Seems like it worked out for the best! Hubby had Moo, oink, quack and loved it. We split fried mushrooms and onion rings, those were really good too .

Love their burgers and drinks! Check out their specials, my friends and I visit on Tuesdays often for the tacos and margs. A nice experience with no complaints :

Stopped in last Friday for a beer and lunch with my buddy. Our server, Brianna, was friendly and very efficient. I had the puffy tacos and they were excellent. Prices are reasonable and you can get a pint of Labatts for $2.50. Hard to beat that. The place is a bit loud but overall a good experience.
