Skinny Kennys Bbq Ice Cream - Kalamazoo

Skinny Kenny's is not only one of the best restaurants in our area but, also one of the best experiences I've ever had at one. Almost every day I drive by I see one of them outside with the smoker cooking away. Which always make me want to stop by and order something. As soon as you walk in you are always greeted and treated like you are family to them. While I was there most recently I was greeted by Kenny himself which I thought was pretty cool. There food is absolutely amazing and definitely worth the money. The amount of time I see these people put into this restaurant and there food truck is absolutely outstanding so the prices are absolutely worth it to me. I would definitely recommend anyone who hasn't been here to give it a shot and I know you won't be disappointed.

Finally a good BBQ place in Michigan! The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is nice, and the owner is an absolute gem. Very much worth the drive and price. We got 2 cheese steaks and a side of spicy mac, it came out delicious and hot! Worth a try every time.

Decided to try something new tonight and went to skinny Kenny?s, not only did Kenny take our order he suggested what we should get as our first time here. Everything was spot on. Beans are amazing, rib meat was amazing, everything was amazing. Will be coming back for sure.

I just wanted to say that a young man named Mitchell who works at the Stadium Drive location is a great representative of this organization. He promptly and pleasantly greeted me at the order counter when I walked in. I told him this was my first time here and it would take me a minute to review the menu. He asked if I wanted to know what some of the more popular items were? I said sure, and he proceeded to give me a few recommendations of what is popular at their restaurant. After a few minutes, he delivered the food to my table and said that he had tried to load up a little extra brisket so I got a good feel for the flavor and taste of their smoked meat. A Short while later he stopped by and asked again how I was enjoying the food. Then, towards the tail end of my meal he asked if he could bring me a small portion of their most popular side dish. Of course I said that would be OK. All in all, Mitchell did a great job to make my first visit to Skinny Kenny?s a great guest experience.

Local find! We shared the Tots, tacos and Pulled pork sandwich. Each dish was a meal in itself. The tacos easily could feed 2 people and the pulled pork was delicious. The tots were the stand out. Covered in the baked beans, pork, and smoked queso, the massive portion could be a meal despite being labeled an appetizer. I suggest dipping or drizzling the spicy bbq sauce made the dish extra tasty. We live about an hour away and will be back without a doubt. Oh. They have ice cream too! Chocolate with PB covered pretzles was amazing.
