Ouzo's European Grill - Kalamazoo

My favorite place in town! The Chicken Marsala is incredible. The staff is wonderful, and the owners are fantastic as well. It's a must-try if you're in Kalamazoo!

Best restaurant in Kalamazoo! We visited Ouzo this summer and absolutely loved it! The food is amazing and incredibly affordable. They have the finest craft beer selection in Kalamazoo, along with some fantastic wines. I highly recommend trying the Moussaka—it was outstanding. The decor is simple yet beautiful, giving off an upscale bistro vibe reminiscent of Paris. The ambiance is perfect for a leisurely dining experience. If you're looking for a quick meal, this isn't the place for you; it's meant for relaxing and enjoying a wonderful European-style experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, providing excellent service.

Great value for your money! This place has a lovely bistro ambiance and offers very affordable food. Be sure to try the gros, trout, or avgolemono soup. Unfortunately, it seems the wine list has decreased in variety, as some unique options like the Cab Franc and Pinot Gris are no longer available. It’s quite busy on weekends, but it's generally easier to get a table during the week.

Large beer selection. Eating is always good. Favorite is the Salmon Savior Sanndwich with havarti. Probably my favorite place to go with friends and relax.

Grilled Trout. The trout grilled in grape leaves is really nice. It's basically two sides of a rainbow trout, no bones, wrapped in grape leaves and cooked on a grill. The grape leaves get lightly charred. The trout cooks inside the grape leaves and remains moist, but not watery and delicately infused with a hint of smoke and flavor. A good portion for one. It really works for me. I have enjoyed the smoked salmon sandwich and other dishes at Ouzo's, too.
