Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Kalamazoo

I had a three meat plate. My friend, too. Absolutely no taste. The baked beans taste like beans from bush. The turkey was actually cut deli meat thick. The roll is a flour tasting platform that does not rise, pasty texture. The BBQ sauce is so thin that it's ridiculous. Besides... the price (even if it was good) and the portion size is a joke.

At the Kalamazoo site I met a large group from the city family who visited my cousin to the WMU. Sarah took care of us so well!! She came from behind and helped us with menu options for our group as this was our first time. Sarah made some of the city visitors feel like home!! I'm back! Oh and the food was great!! Thanks Sarah!!!

That was our first visit and I must say the service was amazing. Not only was the food delicious, but, it was ready before we even got paid. I ordered the marinated chicken sandwich with frits and Mac and cheese and everything tasted so good. I think we found our new favorite grill.

The first time there and the staff was friendly helpful. Brisket was AMAZING!! Onions were also delicious! The fresh lemonade wasn't too sugary? We will be back!!!!

Dickey's got rid of their waffle fries and now have hand cut fries. They are terrible. I don't know what the seasoning is but they taste burnt. To me, it tasted like they use the left over grease from the meat to use in their fryer. I hope they bring back the waffle fries because right now, I can't see myself going back. Both my son and I dumped our entire order of fries in the garbage, they weren't worth taking home. And I don't believe in wasting food. That's how bad they were.
