Mcmenamins Ahles Point Cabin - Kalama

Ahles Point Cabin is a fantastic local spot. Nestled along the Columbia River, the log cabin design complements its surroundings beautifully. The menu is not as extensive as McMenamin's, where the food is made, and it may take a bit longer for your meal to arrive. However, if you're looking for quick bites, this might not be the place for you. The drink service is prompt and friendly, and the outdoor tables provide a lovely view of boats and fishermen when the weather is nice. Definitely worth a visit!

This is my favorite McMenamins location in Kalama! I really appreciate the small, cozy, and charming atmosphere. The fireplace adds a warm touch, and the attention to detail is beautiful. The bartenders, Monica and Jeremy, are fantastic. Even though I'm not a beer drinker and usually opt for a glass of wine or a chai latte, my husband enjoys a cold beer. The cozy ambiance is typical of many McMenamins locations we've visited. We stopped here for lunch while heading to the Anderson School McMenamins in Bothell for an overnight stay. The Hawaiian sandwich I ordered was fantastic, and the service was pleasant. However, I thought that $24 for a sandwich and a small portion of fries was quite steep. I always consider the value against the cost for any purchase, and I felt this was a bit excessive.

Cozy cottage walking distance to the Kalama Harbor Lodge. Attentive staff makes sure you are enjoying the experience. Play cribbage or backgammon while you enjoy your wine beer or spirits while trains roll by. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
