The Beet Box Cafe - Kailua

We are visiting from Wyoming where there aren't many vegan or vegetarian options. There were 3 of us in our party, one ordered Thai tacos, another ordered what's for breakfast, and another Mexicali breakfast. They were all very delicious and had amazing flavor. I plan to make my eggs Mexicali style in the future. It was nice to have microgreens as well. We also ordered two vegan ice cream sandwiches (banana and Carmel coffee) which were delicious. Amazing place! We got the tacos and the bowl. Both were amazing and moved me, as someone who is often moved by good vegan food, the taste of fresh vegetables. Expertly cooked. Amazing.

This restaurant uses incredibly fresh, high-quality ingredients to create delicious dishes without sacrificing flavor. It's a true example of healthy and delicious vegan/vegetarian dining.

Absolutely fantastic. Yesterday we visited their other location and were blown away by the freshness and deliciousness of the food, all while enjoying some amazing live music. Today, while beach hopping and feeling hungry, we stumbled upon their second location nearby. We couldn't resist coming back to try their famous award-winning burger, which was absolutely delicious!!! Their salad dressing is unique and flavorful, with a light, airy, garlicky taste. We also tried the charbroiled portobello burger with feta cheese, which was equally delicious.

I had a great experience dining at this vegetarian restaurant! I highly recommend trying the Thai tacos and VBQ burger, both were delicious. I enjoyed the vibrant colors of each dish. The service was excellent and I would definitely return if I lived in the North Shore. While not everything on the menu is vegan, some items can be modified to accommodate dietary preferences.
