Maui Mike's Fire-roasted Chicken

Oh my goodness! This is the best thing I've eaten in years! The quality and quantity for the price is very reasonable. I have gone back three times already. The chicken is always moist and delicious! It's a hidden gem. If you love chicken and chicken skin, you must visit Maui Mike's in Kailua. My only suggestion would be to put the fries in a separate container when getting takeout, as they can get soggy under the chicken.

The food is amazing. I really enjoyed the BBQ sauce and the fries were hot and salty. I had a great experience.

The chicken was well-cooked, or perhaps perfectly cooked, I should say. I ordered the wing special, which consisted of whole wings straight from the roasted bird. They were tender. The Cajun fries had a hint of dill or something similar, which was a bit unusual for me, but the sauces were good. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant had very limited seating inside. Overall, I would likely return.

Decent rotisserie chicken. Big portions! Nothing too special... but salsifies the rotisserie chicken craving... please make use of the order in advance feature online to avoid any lineups when you get there. Good refuel after the pillbox hike around the area!

Woooow. We just kk d of randomly chose a place to eat on our way to some hikes. Still in COVid mode with no dine in, but we took to go and ate in the car. There are several meal options. We were tempted to just go with basic chicken meals but ended up getting the Mikes Melt meal and the Pulled BBQ chicken meal special. Both were mind blowing. Added the Smokey BBQ and the Lava (buffalo like sauce) both sandwiches were delicious. Hoping we get to come back before we leave the island
