Down To Earth Organic Natural - Kailua

This restaurant offers a great variety of natural foods, including locally sourced produce, as well as body care products that are safe for consumption and use. While the prices are quite high, it’s Kailua, and supporting local businesses is valuable if you’re able to. They also accept EBT food stamps, and the staff is very helpful.

They have everything you could possibly need from a health food store.

I used to love this store, but after what happened, I'm not sure if I'll return. My parents often shop for groceries and water at the DTE Kailua, and my dad usually picks up water from this location since it’s close to our home. We always pay for our produce, but he was wrongly accused of stealing water. I'm really disappointed with how the situation was handled, and I'm grateful my mom was there to stand up for him. My dad is such a kind person; he would never do anything like that. I'm feeling let down by DTE. I have plenty of frustrations to share, but I don't want to because I know some good people who work there; not everyone is to blame.

I've sampled a lot of açaí bowls from various places and price ranges, and I believe "Down to Earth" offers the best option in terms of price, flavor, and presentation of their "Warrior Açaí." I've tried four different spots on the North Shore and about twelve in Kailua and Honolulu, and this one is my favorite!

I experienced incredibly poor customer service today, July 26, 2023. The cashier at the front this afternoon was rude to a customer, and after attending to her, he instructed other employees to assist her from then on for no apparent reason. This treatment should never happen to anyone simply making a purchase in front of other customers. It reflects very poorly on the entire store and its reputation. This is definitely an area that needs improvement!
