Mahina Pizza - Kailua-Kona

I’m really pleased with this pizza spot! They craft their pizzas by hand using all-natural ingredients. Although it isn’t NY-style pizza, that doesn’t take away from its quality—it’s still delicious! It’s one of the best affordable food options in the area, which is quite limited. I had two slices with toppings and an iced tea for just $8 (before tax). Plus, the service was exceptionally friendly! I highly recommend this place!

The pizza here is absolutely fantastic. I had the half thin crust, and it was packed with flavor while still being simple. I highly recommend it! The vibe is relaxed and enjoyable.

The best dining spot in Kona! From what I can tell, there's one person handling both the tables and the cooking, so be prepared to wait a bit. It's a BYOB place, which is great. Perfect for families. In my opinion, they serve the best pizza on the island!

The owner is very attentive to the customer. She offered to make the pizza half the half between the choices of my two children, and over, double cut a few slices if someone wants to have another taste. This personal touch brings the customer back again and again.

Salad with house dressing is 5stars. Cheesy garlic bread was good, but could be SO much better if they used real garlic instead of powder. Thin crust pizza was fine... ingredients very good, crust boring (no yeast flavor). But a great place to watch people and cars cruising Ali'i if you get a seat by the balcony. And plan ahead... byob if you want beer or wine with dinner.
